The Palm Islands, also referred to as The Palm Dubai and The Palms, are the three largest man-made islands in the world, which are being built on the coast of the Emirate of Dubai, UAE. The three resort islands are expected to maintain Dubai's position as a premium tourist destination. The Palm Islands are also the self declared 'Eighth Wonder of the World'.

Each of the Islands, Palm Jebel Ali, Palm Jumeirah and Palm Deira, are being built in the shape of a Date Palm tree and consist of a trunk, a crown with 17 fronds and are surround by a crescent island that acts as a break-water.

The Palm Jebel Ali is the second and middle sized island in The Palm trilogy and is located on the Jebel Ali coastal area of the Emirate of Dubai and is an entertainment destination for both adults and children and was created with a vision of becoming an unparalleled getaway for residents and tourists alike. The Palm Jebel Ali offers an array of luxury hotels, beach-side villas, shoreline apartments and innovative water homes built on stilts between the fronds and the crescent and that spell out a poem written by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum. There is a variety of entertainment and leisure activities, including six Marinas, a 'Sea Village', a water theme park and world class golf courses.
